I have never been one to just go along for lessons in anything, mainly due to a lack of confidence in doing something i dont know much about in front of new people, but having had g-force recommended to me, i took my teenage brother along with me to the beginners kick boxing classes. Well after one lesson, i was hooked. Gordon and co made me feel really welcome, & although i felt a bit silly initially when doing kicks, etc, i soon got over it. My brother who had no interest in martial arts, also become hooked, and we both joined with gold membership at the next lesson.
The first lesson was free so i could see what it was like which was a great bonus.
A few weeks later, i took myself along to the ladies only kick fit classes, and again that was great, and all the people who had the lessons were very welcoming. It definately gives you a feeling that you have done some exercise, but is appropriate enough for all levels to go along. The ladies only requires no membership, & costs just £5 per lesson. However, having joined as a member, i go to that lesson as part of my membership.
It is a great place for adults, teens, and younger children. Just watching smaller children in their lessons is amazing. They are so good, and all have amazing confidence. When my little boy gets a bit older, I will be taking him along too. Then with there being a variety of levels for adult martial arts, there is something for everyone!
I love it and more than highly recommend it.
If you are not sure whether to go, all i can say is, go along to a lesson or two, and i guarantee you will be hooked!
