I love the fact that when I am in the car with my son, he is singing "we're almost there!" getting quicker and louder the closer we get to nursery. As soon as we get there he hops out of the car and waves at all his friends who are waiting with huge happy smiles on their faces. A warm friendly smile greets you at the door with a cheery "hello". My son has no time to kiss me goodbye as he cannot wait to get in to nursery and play with all his friends. I love the fact that I can drive to work safe in the knowledge that my son is so happy to be there. When I go to pick him up he is keen to tell me all the fun he has had and why he has got stickers from the "grown ups" there. The staff are fully informed about how he has been, what he has done and what he has eaten. All the way home he chatters none stop about what he has learnt and what he can do and how much fun he has had. I love the fact that Ofsted has recognised how hard the staff work to create such a happy atmosphere!!

The staff work really hard. They make new staff+children feel welcome. They work well as one big team. They make sure all children are safe, well and protected at all times. Good communication with parents. It’s a fun and enjoyable place for children.

When we were looking for a nursery to place our daughter, the one feature that stood out to us, as parents, was how happy the staff and children were Caldecote. After having a look around we could not help but think about this as well as all the opportunities that would be presented to our daughter. As a result, we have sent her to Caldecote Nursery and feel this is the best decision we could have made. She is continually coming home with creative work, cooking and cards that she has has made. Her speech and physical development have come on in leaps and bounds. The staff are polite, caring and extremely helpful with any query no matter how big or small. Our daughter is extremely happy at Caldecote and would even attend weekends if they were open!! As parents we are more than happy with the service provided and the wide range of fun activities provided. I believe that our daughter is experiencing a good base to further build her education upon.

I found there to be a friendly atmosphere at the Nursery and children were happy and engaged in the activities provided for them. The Nursery offers children a wide range of experiences and is a really solid foundation for their education. I would highly recommend Caldecote Day Nursery to other parents looking for childcare in the area.
