There's not long left until the 1960s hit Rossendale for a weekend of psychedelic fun, raised hemlines and music from this popular period in British history.

The festival is taking place across the valley and in various venues, offering something for the entire family. Whether you're a scooter fanatic or a fan of the Beatles, you're bound to enjoy Rossendale in September for what is expected to be one of the biggest events the valley has ever seen.

 

Events

Friday 11th September - Launch

The Whitaker Museum - Costume is encouraged for this evening of 60s music, icons and influences.

Cafe Artisan, Rawtenstall - An evening of 60s music

 

Saturday 12th September

Whitsock Festival at The Whitaker Museum - live music from local bands

60's window decoration competition for shop-owners in Rawtenstall, Bacup and Haslingden. Click here for more information. 

Broadwater Hall, Bacup, is hosting a Northern Soul night

The Berni Inn Restaurant, Whitworth, hosting 'Berni's Blues Experience'.

Magical Mystery Tour from Rossobus, you can jump on and off these 60s themed buses at any location for just £2, allowing you to see as much of the festival as possible.

 

Sunday 13th September

Scootfest at Haslingden Cricket Club with live music and lots of scooters
