I visited The Coach and Horses last week with a party of 7 and had a very enjoyable evening. The menu was excellent and of course as it was the lead up to Christmas there was also a choice of Christmas Fayre. The food was excellent and plenty of it! It was piping hot and extremely tasty. The service was fantastic snd nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend The Coach. Good quality at extremely competitive prices. Good choice of wine by the glass too! Thanks for an enjoyable evening!

Went last night for the second time in two weeks. A party of 7 of us everything was just perfect. The beer was 'Bobbins' (thats its name not its quality), previously I had sampled the other two real beers, both good. The young lass who served us and the girl behind the bar were first class and up for a laugh.We will be going again.

A family party went to the Coach and Horses on a Friday evening a few weeks ago. The food was excellent, very fresh and beautifully cooked ( we hade many different dishes) everything arrived at the table hot and at the same time. The service was good throughout the evening, and we shall be going back.

Food was fantastic, great service in a lovely atmosphere. We were given extra vegetables for our baby at no extra charge and the belly pork starter that I had was absolutely superb,the best starter I have had in a long long time.

We had a small party to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. We had a range of appetisers, starters, main courses, desserts and liqueur coffee. All the food was piping hot when served. The barman/waiter recommended a beer to my husband which he enjoyed. The final bill was very reasonable - a place to visit again!

A party of three, we had excellent food (we had a variety of appetiser / starters, main course, desserts and liqueur coffees). The portions are good-sized and all the food was piping hot. The bar attendant / waiter was very pleasant and helpful. We felt it was good value for money and would visit again.

Excellent menu of well cooked homemade food. Very well kept real ale. Warm and relaxed atmosphere with welcoming staff. Very reasonably priced for what's on offer. Overall, one of the best "real pubs" we've ever been to and that includes outside of Lancashire. 5 stars, highly recommended!

We don't live far away from the Coach and Horses and have passed it many times, but it was their special offer of a 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £13.99 on Mondays and Wednesdays that made us try it out. The meal was delicious and the surroundings very traditional and homely. The staff were very efficient and friendly and made us feel really welcome. There was a lovely ambience because the pub was busy for a Wednesday night - lots of other people decided to enjoy the superb value and service of the Coach and Horses! Going back again this week and I can't wait!
