What a great event you organised once again last night. Where else can you meet old business acquaintances and make new ones, gain potential business too - not to mention eat fantastic food AND get a free haircut all in a friendly relaxed atmosphere - Just sorry I didn't have a go at the 'speed networking' - it seemed like fun.Once again it was well organised and well attended and there seemed to be even more people than last time despite it being 'holiday season'Well done all - thank you
Just a quick email to let you know how impressed I was with the networking event yesterday evening. As a first time attendee at one of these events, I wasn’t 100% certain what to expect but the evening appeared to be well organised with a good level of attendance and a diverse mix of people representing a wide range of local businesses. I’m afraid that I did sneak away before the end (to watch a certain TV show about wannabe Entrepreneurs in business!) but I would definitely consider attending future events. I will also be speaking to my business colleagues and recommending that we register with the Best of Rossendale.
Just a thank you for last night. I found it very interesting and enjoyed meeting so many people. I was really impressed with the way you ran it. Please do keep me up to date with any other events.
The first ever evening with the best of Rossendale was also my first ever open networking event, so i was a little apprehensive as to what to expect. Upon arrival I was greeted with a room full of local businesses and a great energy about the place. Everyone that I managed to speak to seemed to have a sincere desire to help me generate more business, and I’m sure that of those people I spoke to some long lasting profitable business relationships were formed. The evening was exceptional in that it was very warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere but with a real emphasis on generating more business for all who attended. There were a number of showcase stands which was a fantastic way for local businesses to raise their profile within the valley. If all networking events are like this one then I need not of been so apprehensive, however I’m sure that they are not all as well organized or quite so productive. I will definitely be attending the next..
Just a quick note to say thank you for an extremely productive evening at The Best Of exhibition event last night. As with the last two events, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting a lot of new businesses, had some very informative conversations, with at least two new website jobs as a direct consequence of the exhibition. As an existing member of The Best of Bury I have attended many of their highly succesful networking and business exhibitions and through that have gained many new contacts and some good business. Therefore, I was very interested when The Best of Rossendale launched their first business event last night at Hasligden Cricket Club and was eager to attend. Considering it was their first event, (and the terrible weather) it was well attended and there must have been at least 90 people in attendance as well as the exhibitors. It was great to catch up with business colleagues, reform/cement relationships with clients and of course...pick up much needed business. I even managed to find a potential employer for a relative of mine who was recently made redundant AND I also won the raffle prize as well!!! Well organised, well executed, well attended. I am sure, like the Bury events it will go from strength to strength. Well done to all involved
I was invited to the first Best of Rossendale networking event by Kathryn and Debi. I am a 'virgin’ to this type of event but realise that it’s a 21st century business tool which in this economic climate shouldn't be dismissed.I was greeted at the door by members of the 'Best of' team and quickly realised that the enthusiasm and ambition of Kathryn and Debi had rubbed off on the majority of the other businesses in the room. A welcome relief from the doom and gloom of the business community outside!A varied collection of businesses fighting the recession head on and all prepared to assist newcomers!In layman’s terms it was a 'back scratching' event and I certainly had my back scratched and hope my refurbishment/joinery manufacturing business can do likewise to others in the room.An enjoyable and productive night with a pint and a sandwich to boot.Well done.
