By working on global and local levels, Agapao International aim to sustain change and empower both communities and individuals.
Agapao focus on providing Community Development Managers who are trained to visit villages and communities and source local volunteers. In Rossendale and its surrounding areas, Agapao International work with individuals and groups on local projects where they are needed.
Impact Training
As one of Rossendale's leading Charitable Organisations, Agapao International offer a range of bespoke impact programmes available in a number of areas.
Personal
The programme is 12 weeks long and aimed to suit all ages, with the needs of specific groups such as Young Offenders being catered for. During the course a range of topics are covered, including personal, community and global issues, developing team work, problem solving skills and communication.
Leadership
The 12 week leadership programme explores, discovers and develops personal skills to find the leaders of the future.
Youth and Community
By developing basic knowledge and skills over a 12 week course, young people can learn how to organise and their own youth and community projects in and around the Rossendale area.
Corporate
Agapao aims to provide impact training for all ages, organising team building days with a fair trade theme. This gives corporate groups time to develop skills and raises awareness of global issues through team challenges.
