My son has attended Rossendale Scouts for some time now and I have to say that it is a great way for yor child to socialise and build confidence with others. I cannot rate the leaders and all they do enough and would encourage anyone to get involved where they can.

I first heard about 2nd Rossendale Scouts just over 2 years ago when I was looking for music tuition for my eldest son who was then only 6 years old. We turned up one Saturday morning and he was given a cornet and a free music lesson and has never looked back. He is now a member of the Junior Band and the Cubs and loves both. My youngest son recently joined the Beaver Section and is really enjoying it. It is also helping to build his self confidence.

The 2nd Rossendale Scout Group is a fantastic organisation which allows the children from within the local community to get really involved in all sorts of different activities. I was really impressed with the quality of the band when I recently visited but also the amount of time and effort that all of the volunteers put into making the group a huge success. Well done I say and keep up the sterling work!

You just wouldn't believe the time and effort some of the young people put into making this a very good place for young and not so young people to socialise and form friendships that could last a lifetime.
