Staff give riding centre a facelift

Scores of workers from Basepoint business centres in Romsey and Winchester helped out at Hampshire Riding Therapy in Colden Common.

They repainted the centre, carried out general repairs and did some gardening as part of a staff away day.

“They worked like Trojans,” said David Le Riche, a trustee of the therapy centre. “The day was absolutely fantastic, they worked so hard. We’re extremely grateful – without days like these we would not be able to keep the centre going.”

Basepoint, which provides office space for small and medium-sized businesses, has recently opened near Tesco in Winnall, Winchester. Its Romsey base has provided £10,000 of sponsorship to the therapy centre over the last two years.
