About The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre
The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre first opened it's doors to the public in 1990: since then it has built an excellent reputation as Rochdale's number one retail destination.
The Wheatsheaf's location has always been an important part of Rochdale's history, as local records show that the site had been used by a variety of businesses from as early as 1885. The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre's name comes from an area of the site known as the Wheatsheaf Court.
The Wheatsheaf continues to develop under the watchful eye of Centre Manager, Martin Ballard, along with a dedicated and professional team of staff.
