It came as something as a surprise when my name came out of the hat for a complimentary box at the Hornets v Skolars match.
But what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be as my guests - not regulars at Hornets - enjoyed some spectacular tries, a delicious potato pie and most of all a warm welcome.
I even managed to persuade two stalwarts of Littleborough Rugby Union to forsake the France v England match and they weren't disappointed.
I would encourage any future beneficiaries of this splendid scheme to take full advantage.
