Gill is patient and funny. She always gave variety and worked on what I wanted - and with success.
I have always exercised and had got stagnant. Gill worked on specific core areas with me and after continuing the exercises each day - successoccurred. Gill also knew what I enjoyed....the boxing gloves came out regularly ! It is a shame I had to give up the training sessions but one day hope to use Gill again - when I need change to the routine.

I have known gill a few years as i get older certain classes became slightly strenuous for me but Gill has always found the right exercise to suit my advancing years . They also give me that feel-good factor and I can't ever think that Gill will never be part of my keep fit regime!

All good things come in small packages and Gill is all good things.
She is very knowledgable and encouraging, always finding a way for those who "can't do".
She brings fun to the class and makes you feel very comfortable, which to me is a great asset

Gill is very accommodating, never puts you down and still manages to ensure you get through your fitness programme.

She is willing to orgnaise the training around work or perosnal committments and is encouraging when you're feeling low.

I would happily recommend Gill to any friends looking for a personal trainer/classes. She doesn't have an air of superiority about her which itself can be daunting to someone not as fit as they could be.

If you need to increase your fitness Gill would be the best person to approach. Or, join one of her classes - you will see for yourself how welcoming she is.

I selected Gill Thomas as my Personal Trainer approximately 3 years ago to get me toned up and trim for my daughters wedding. I also had a back problem due to a car accident some years previously, which made doing simple household duties such as pushing a oover a real challenge.

Gill is always flexible and willing to work around my work commitments, which I really appreciate. The workouts are varied and use different methods of resistance exercises as well as core strengthening and cardio. I felt a million dollars at my daughters wedding and my back issues are greatly improved.I recently had to have a small operation where doctors remarked on my good muscle tone and my quick recovery; I attribute this to my twice weekly workout with Gill.

I have tried various ways of exercise in the past but having a Personal Trainer is definitely the best option I have found, means I train each week and am always pushed to do the best I can.

After Christmas 2009 I reached the heaviest weight I had ever reached and I needed to take action. I decided to cancel my gym membership (as I never went!) and spend the money on a personal trainer instead. I contacted Gill Thomas, which was the most positive move I have ever made with regards to improving my health.

I decided that I would like to start running. Gill ran with me, teaching me about breathing techniques and setting goals for myself. I was surprised at how much I began to enjoy it, and at how much further I could run over time. I now have the confidence and energy to go for a run after work a couple of times a week. I am also entering Race for Life later this year - a 5k event which is something I never previously dreamed I would be capable of.

Gill now works with me on improving my muscle tone using weights and resistance techniques - it's tough but I really enjoy it and the results are visible. She has also helped me to prepare and stick to a healthy vegetarian diet, and my weight is coming down gradually and staying off. Gill has suppported, encouraged and educated me throughout the past 14 months and I am happy to recommend her.
