Friday 27th August – Monday 30th August 2010
The 2nd year of the Hampton Court Beer and Jazz Festival is back with a bang with some of the best names from the world of Jazz and a healthy pouring of beer thrown in for good measure! The 2010 line up is very exciting and includes Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley with his Swing Band, Brand New Heavies and Incognito playing on the same bill and the James Taylor Quartet on the opening night.
The highlight of the festival will be Preservation Hall Jazz Band who are being flown over from New Orleans for this one off show! The Preservation Hall Jazz Band are synonymous with the sound of Dixieland Jazz and have been touring the world since 1963 spreading this unique sound. This is a rare opportunity to see a legendary band. Joining them on the same bill will be the amazing Ronnie Scott’s All Stars and R&B Diva Ruby Turner.
The Hampton Court Beer and Jazz Festival however is not just about great music which is guaranteed. The perfect pint-sized summer festival now in its 2nd year will once again satisfy all the senses. There will be over 200 real ales, ciders and summer brews from the best of British breweries at the Real Ale Garden and The Cider Orchard. With Pimms, Wine and Summer Cocktails, along with a Festival Soul Foods area, this really has every ingredient required for a long summer’s day of chilling.
