Hi, I’m Nick Taimitarha and I’ve been running the best of richmond since 2005. It's not just myself anymore, my team include Stuart, Jacqui, Louise, Katy, Rich and Christine.
We love supporting local independent businesses, especially those that provide excellent customer service. That’s what this website is all about – showcasing the reputable, reliable and talented traders here in the borough of Richmond upon Thames.
We communicate regularly with our business members and meet up with them regularly at our monthly social business evenings . These have been held at prestigious local venues such as Hampton Court Palace, The Petersham and Bingham hotels – and even on Turk Launches boats!
Once a year we showcase our business members at Networking Expo at Twickenham Stadium – in March 2010 there were 98 exhibitors and 850 visitors. We also organise regular Knowledge Sessions where our business members share their expertise with each other.
I'm also delighted to say that in March 2010 we were commended in the South London Business Awards in the 'Best Business for Marketing' category.
It’s a genuinely buzzing local business community that we’re building. Me and my team meets every business that’s featured on this site, we know them personally and it’s backed up by testimonials from their customers.
