I work for a charity, INS, and they catered a recent Scottish Dancing fundraising event. They went way beyond what was expected to make sure the food was perfect and the service, by our volunteers, went without a hitch. All done with a smile and a 20% reduction in their usual charges. They also provided picnic for our patients on a number of boat trips in the summer which were hugely appreciated by the patients. Matt is just the most talented and knowledgeable chef, so easy to learn from, Lynne is a fantastic hands on tutor. The whole course was just great fun - relaxed and easy, nice glass of wine in hand! All the dishes we learnt were superb and we have loved recreating them back at home. I'm just loving feeling more confident about what ingredients to buy, how to prepare them and how to fuse ingredients together for the most amazing flavours. Can't wait for Cookery Course 2!

I gave a party for an 80 year old actor friend in my house & garden. The guest list was his - all celebrity actors. A bit daunting for me! Hot Knives were fantastic. Calm, cooked everything on my premises and provided friendly, professional staff. The food was of an exceptionally high and delicious standard. Everyone who attended the party commented on how splendid it was - the canapes that preceded the lunch were so good, some guests thought they WERE the lunch! I had 38 letters complimenting me on the food & wonderful service! A hostess likes to claim the success of a party for herself. On this occasion - the success was due to HOT KNIVES.
