The Lofty Turtle - Award winning modern european restaurant and bistro bar located on Upper Richmond Road West, East Sheen. Great food, great drinks, classic movies in a New York loft-style local hangout, available for wedding receptions and party venues.
Situated on the border of Sheen and Richmond in South West London, The Lofty Turtle restaurant and cocktail bar, formerly the Naked Turtle, has taken inspiration from Long Island Hamptons' and New York loft bars with a retro feel where every bar has a relaxed informal feel with great craft beers, cocktails & casual dining.
The new lounge area has a 1930's feel with black chesterfields along side art deco cinema seats, with beautifully opulent ottomans lit by 30's stage lamps and a classic Wurlitzer jukebox at the centre.
Classic and cult movies will be projected onto the brick walls throughout the week with specific movie nights for the movie enthusiast.
Customers are also able to relax and play retro arcade 80's games on the arcade table or play pool and table football whilst watching a variety of sports on the TV.
Food and Drink
The Lofty Turtle's extensive drinks list features over 60 craft beers in bottles and a further 9 on draft from around the globe, with house spirits from the local multi award winning Chiswick craft distillers Sipsmith, not to mention a wide array of cocktails and fine wines.
Where food is concerned, the menu will serve up American inspired classics such as Boston fishcakes, flame grilled steaks, clam chowder alongside salads and burgers.
Private hire & events
The Lofty Turtle can take Drinks, Canape' and buffet parties from 10 - 150+ and can take sit down dinner parties up to 36.
The restaurant can also offer private or full venue hire with DJ's, Live Music, Vodka Luges.

The commitment of new owners Paddy and Dee has taken my favourite restaurant / bar to a new level. Great food, great drink. Good company and bizarre movies!!
I'd recommend The Naked Turtle for it's high quality standards of customer care. We had a wonderful Christmas meal recently which was exceedingly well presented and delicious! The staff in the restaurant and bar were excellent!
This venue is suerb! The jazz singing waitresses are only outshone by the mouth wateringly tantilising menu. Worth a visit ad will no doubt become a favourite haunt
Great food and a lovely atmosphere, good for a romantic meal or a group party although book early if you wish to get a table on a weekend night. theres also a good bar if you dont want to eat!
