Already I have had commissions! One person had googled ‘photographers in Richmond’ and found me via thebestof and also one of the existing business members commissioned me to do a shoot for his wife of their 3 teenage boys for her 50th next month. He met me at The Petersham Hotel at the first thebestof meeting that I ever went to!!!!

I just wanted to let you know it was a great event and venue on Tuesday. It was my first Networking with The Best of event and I thought it was run very well and I particularly liked the way it was broken up by you guys getting on the mics and I met loads of interesting people and made some very good contacts. The only disappointment was there wasn’t enough time to speak to everyone.

I've been a member of Best of Richmond for some time and the quality and number of enquiries that we receive is exceptional but I had not ventured into attending a Best of Richmond networking event until recently. I must say I am so pleased that I did.

The warm genuine greeting I received when I arrived at The Depot Waterfront Brasserie in Barnes from not only the Best of Richmond guys and girls but from other businesses was great, the free flowing wine, fruit juice and general niceness of everyone made me feel like I was chatting to new friends at a party rather than "working".

I made 4 new contacts for our cleaning company and won the business card draw, so I'll get to go back to The Depot for a meal for free! I would highly recommend attending a Best of Richmond event especially if you are new to networking and nervous of starting a conversation with strangers.

The venue was fantastic, I met lots of lovely people and re-connected with some that I haven't seen for a while and actually managed to give someone a referral whilst I was there. PS The food was great too!

I attended my first Best of Richmond networking event in February this year and I found the event refreshing and invigorating.

After a long hard day, the environment was friendly and informal, there were no embarrassing gimmicks - just the opportunity to meet fellow local traders and identify potential sales opportunities and partnerships. As the year has progressed and my networking skills have improved I have always come away with some excellent contacts, as well as having a very enjoyable evening at some great locations.

The other great benefit has been Nick’s support and his desire to ensure that you maximise your investment. From the attendee lists sent in advance of the event to his willingness to introduce you to absolutely anyone that is going to be there shows a real commitment to every one of his clients.

Thanks for last night, I had a great evening and ended up talking to some good people, I will definitely be making the effort to attend other events from time to time in the future.

As a company we would highly recommend The Best of Richmond. It has proven to be our best form of advertising. We receive around 4-5 enquiries a week through TBofR leading to at least 2-3 becoming clients. We have been part of the door drop which looks very professional and are now proud to advertise TBofR on our van with our new sign writing!!

I recently acquired the services of the Best of Richmond to reach a wider audience for Style Defined Events’ website.

Firstly, Nick and his team researched which pages relating to events and venues were getting the most traffic on his site and they sent me a detailed report, so that I could make an informed decision as to where I wanted to place my feature.

They then wrote all the text for Style Defined Events, saving me time and effort (It’s also worth mentioning that they did a better job at it than I would have done). After I approved the contents of the feature, it went live the same day.

Nick is aware that I’m a new business, so he worked out a payment plan that suited me. Featuring on the Best of Richmond has been hassle free and I am already enjoying increased visits to my site. I was really impressed with the whole package offered by the Best of Richmond.
