Excellent treatment all round from Physio on the River.Jane
I have been a client for a few years. I am pleased to say that I have not needed to visit for physio recently but I have been attending pilates classes run by Victoria whom I think is an excellent teacher. She is able to describe very clearly what one should be doing/feeling. I very much enjoy the classes and I do feel the benefit.
They are marvellous at helping me recover after surgery/accidents (4 times).
This is a tremendously friendly business. Provides a service over and above the fees.
Superb service and attention to detail. Richard Game is one of the best.
Caring and efficient treatment from friendly professionals.
I'm happy that all the physios treat me well and are friendly.

Pilates with fun and approachable people - very enjoyable, thanks!
Just to say that I find the staff and physio professional and charming and helpful. I would recommend them without hesitation. I needed physio on my foot following surgery. It really helped. The practice is kept clean and tidy and is welcoming and warm.
Very professional, but also caring, lively and with relaxed atmosphere.
They listen, they smile, they inspire you with confidence and they make it so much better!

Practical and thoughtful treatment of my 12 year old's Osgood Schlatters - Richard the physio is a star.
I have been using Richard Game for several years and he has helped improved me with regard to a number of different injuries.
I have been a patient for a number of years. I have always been impressed by the excellence of a professional knowledge and technical skills. They are friendly and courteous - it's a pleasure to visit them.
An excellent atmosphere. As someone recovering from a broken hip I have benefited greatly from rehab classes.
I have always found Physio on the River to be a very welcoming place, with great expertise. My appointments have been with Diana Wilson, and her attention, understanding and treatment until all is well again, have always been exemplary.I can whole-heartedly recommend her establishment.
This is a warm, friendly, intimate place which you feel is dedicated to making your body feel and function better. The exercise space is small and my pilates teacher, the lovely Susie, inspires confidence and constantly checks each of us to make sure we're doing the exercises correctly. She epitomises the ethos of the place.
Lovely friendly atmosphere with great professional staff and excellent classes. It is a pleasure to go there!
EVERYONE, including the receptionists, are all incredibly friendly - and efficient. Diana Wilson who runs the practice is a brilliant and intuitive physiotherapist - she has gone the extra mile (especially in emergencies) many times for me. Top knotch!
Diana and her team go the extra mile to make sure that you are getting the right treatment in the round. Less about the money, more about the mobility.
A warm, caring and friendly physio. Diana especially is fantastic. She also followed up the appointments with emails to make sure I had all the info i needed and i knew i could contact her at any time if i needed. Really really impressed with Phyiso on the River.Lisa Horley
The physios who work here are very passionate about what they do and very positive and proactive with their clients. As a movement teacher, I always refer my clients to this practice.
That it's close to home, that the service is personal and professional but most of all that the physiotherapy works!
I needed some physio and was recommended to Diana Wilson at Physio on the River. I had used other physios for previous injuries with mixed success. At my first session with Diana she performed several tests and by the end of the session she had accurately diagnosed what was wrong with me. We then embarked on a series of appointments where she manipulated the affected area and gave me exercises to do in between. I am only part way through the treatment but can already feel that what she is doing is having real benefits.
Great Pilates classes with caring and inspirational teachers.
Very attentive, very professional business. The physio gives the impression that you are a case rather than appointment and works with you to complete treatment as sooon as possible.
Physio on the River is a centre of excellence for physiotherapy. It has pleasant reception staff, excellent practitioners and a relaxed atmosphere. We are lucky to have such a facility in Barnes.
Great physio's. Are always happy to accommodate as soon as possible. Kind, generous staff who enjoy what they do with professionalism and humour. Great Pilates classes, Sarah can't be beaten for making sure everyone no matter the ability is doing the moves correctly so that you really are getting what you pay for.
Very friendly from the off. A quick diagnosis and i was seen by the physio for how long it took to work out the problem - I didnt feel rushed out when my hour was up! Also today, i forgot my wallet and though it was only my second trip they were fine and said to call in with the payment when i could!
Friendly, helpful and very expert. Susie resolved spinal and ankle issues where two orthopaedic consultants had failed to do so.
Incredibly personal, tailored, professional service. Excellent results in a business that often seems more luck than judgement. Very friendly and warm and calm. Diana must be one of the best in the business. Oh, and my shoulder is much improved - previous physios had not managed that.
The service at the centre is exceptional, from the warm and friendly welcome that you receive on arrival to the high quality levels of care and treatment. The experience at the centre is one of complete satisfaction and confidence.
The physiotherapists here are extremely professional but very kind, friendly and so understanding. The office and therapy rooms are light, bright, very clean and just pleasant and comfortable.
Our family is very lucky to have such a great physio so close! Very friendly and helpful, but also all the physios and massage therapists are very professional and efficient. I am a frequent user as are my two sons as we all do a lot of sport and the great team at Physio on the River help us keep doing what we love!
At Physio on the River there is a blend of talents and good service keeps me coming back over many years.
Following a sports injury, it was good to find a Physio that friendly and provided the care and attention required. Thank you! MB
Having had physio regularly for the last 15 years, Physio on the River would be one of the best. I have been seeing the team for treatment following a hip replacement and as a younger than normal patient for this op, I have found their approach excellent and would recommend them to anyone. Parking and transport links are also great.
Greatly run centre for Pilates, Yoga and Physio.
It is so near, handy to buses and train services. Easy to book appointment with person of your choice very quickly. Good, friendly atmosphere.
They have given me fantastic treatment, more than efficient and very, very helpful in sorting out health insurances that were not their job! Above all, highly efficient, fantastic company.
They sort out your problems. All of the family are registered with them.
They are so professional and an amazing dedicated team.
I have probably been one of Physio on the River’s more frequent patients while having pre and post op rehab of my knee ACL injury. I feel I have been extremely well cared for which is evidenced by my progressive recovery. It feels like my third ‘home’ after real home and the office!
Good physio, positive approach, very caring, attentive and knowledgable proffesionals. Welcoming, good atmosphere and good results in treatment.
Friendly reception, great sports massage, easy to get to ...I highly recommend Physio on the River!
A professional and very friendly physiotherapy practice. Lovely staff; bright clean surroundings and, an added bonus, a weekly timetable of Pilates and Yoga classes. Would highly recommend.
Its a one stop shop for all your aches, pains and sporting injuries. The staff are very professional and most importantly really friendly. They make you feel like your problems can be easily solved.
Diana was very helpful, fitting me in at short notice after a fall, and previously helping to get me functioning after a knee op, a very useful local amenity. Margaret in Barnes
Really thorough professional service when dealing with my recovery from ankle and hip resurfacing operations recently - highly recommended - Woody
I am new to Pilates and I cannot praise Physio on the River enough. They have been welcoming and supportive. They run excellent classes and make sure that each person has understood the exercises clearly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends.
Excellent, friendly service delivered by a small team of dedicated professionals.Diana leads the team and through her efforts she literally got me back on my feet after a double hip operation.
Physio on the River provides really good quality care in smart and comfortable surroundings. No nonsense, no lecturing just practical help to sort out any problem.
Professional and reassuring; Physio on the River helped me with injury and pains. I recommended Physio on the River to friends, who were equally pleased with the care. Pilates recommended too.
I have been a patient for 5 years following osteoporotic spinal fractures. Treatment has brought near total relief from pain and great improvement in mobility. Professional skills of staff are beyond praise. Premises well-equipped and maintained.
Friendly, thorough and professional. Bright and modern surroundings. Convenient appointment times with little waiting.
The most friendly, professional and knowledgeable physios I have ever been treated by. The centre is really well equipped and every member of the team helpful.
It is a friendly environment . I have practised pilates and now yoga for a while now.LOve my yoga class ; Pagan is a wonderfull caring teacher. The staff is friendly..... Only positive comments to write.
Very friendly physios - always follow up on clients - so much nicer than being a 'number'in a hospital - they have looked after 4 out of 5 members of the family and successfully.Because they have a great reputation the gps are happy to take their advice.Very good at producing documentation quickly - don't have to wait for 'x'to come back off holiday - they work as a team.Thank you from the NorrisesAltogether grateful we have them on our doorstep.
A wonderfully supportive team of physiotherapists and health professionals! Small an intimate classes in pilates and yoga are available too with some of the best instructors I have taken. Physio on the River is a real asset to our community.
I fractured my elbow when the snow first hit London. For weeks my arm that didn't work properly. I was signed off work as I couldn't use a keyboard. I came to physio on the river, hoping that they could get my arm working again and they did. I can now use my laptop (evidenced by this email), I can raise my arm which means I can use a phone, lift a cup, wash my hair! I have no doubt that without the physio I received there I would not have recovered.
I was recommended to Physio on the River by another physiotherapist who was unable to see me at the time of my injury. I was treated by Susie Elliott over a period of weeks, and then subsequent follow-up MOTs. Susie is an extremely skilful practitioner, not only in her physiotherapy, but also in her communications skills. She takes great time to explain exactly what the problem is and sees each situation as a challenge, and approaches her work with such care and professionalism.
Close by and lovely and friendly staff.
I developed a severe pain; so acute that I could hardly breathe. I spent weeks seeking help from various health professionals, none of whom could identify it or provide me with pain relief. I was on the verge of desperation when a friend suggested Physio on the River. I was seen immediately, diagnosed with displaced ribs, and was happy and healthy again within a few days. I would highly recommend them as an excellent, professional, friendly and pain-relieving team and want to give them lots of love!
Diana runs an excellent physio practice and the physio that I used to see was most committed, skilled and sensitive.
Fantastic caring staff; warm, welcoming atmosphere. Expert physio from Diana Wilson quite literally got me moving again and Sarah Parkinson's Pilates classes keep me in trim and get the weekend off to a flying start.
Supportive and caring staff in both physio and Pilates - make you realise you're partners in your recovery..
After my hip resurfacing surgery in 2006, Diana was incredibly helpful in guiding me through a progressive programme of rehabilitation. I am very pleased with the performance of my "bionic" new parts and recovery of strength and mobility of my hip, which owe much to the quality of Diana's PT guidance. I celebrated the anniversary of my surgery by competing in the Windsor triathlon and my new hip joint continues to do well. Best wishes.
Richard treated my son for a sports injury. He was wonderful with him and they chatted happily about rugby while he sorted out the problem. The practise was clean and friendly and I would definitely use them again!
Very friendly environment and tremendous results thanks to my wonderful and dedicated physio Suzie at Physio on the River. Golf caused a neck/back problem, Suzie immediately got right to the core of the problem, pulled and tugged and within no time I was back swinging the club and carrying the bag! Right back on track! Highly recommended and an extremely efficient practice. Very many thanks.
They are very caring and personal.I got help in an emergency, they came to my house and were very good. They also are very efficient.
They are very user-friendly and unfrightening and have transformed a totally unfit, partially disabled person (me) into something resembling a human being. All the instructors and physios have been first-rate and the place is welcoming and helpful.
Diana and her team have helped me enormously over the years with various bits of me that I keep injuring - They are all courteous, friendly and efficient making the treatment(almost!) a pleasure. A very professional practice led with competence and extensive knowledge that has helped me physically and mentally in keeping me going through extensive rehab. I would thoroughly recommend Physio on the River.
Great, really helpful and friendly staff. Thanks to them I'm back up and able to move around rather than grumpy and hobbling about in pain. All in all they offer an excellent service and I couldn't recommend them more!
It is bright, cheerful, clean and friendly. You never wait long, it is modern and the treatment works.
You go in pain, you come out refreshed. You feel as though everyone really cares. Environment warm and friendly
Great people who are always friendly and consumate professionals. Over the last twelve years all the family have been pummelled and pushed back to health more than once - with a smile, and with courtesy. Great local business.
I was very impressed with Diane who clearly knows her stuff and helped me navigate my way out of a sports injury. I would certainly recommend her to anyone needing a physio. Very professional and very friendly.
I've been going to Physio on the River for many years now. They are great at corrrectly diagnosing and then treating the problem. They aim for a long term cure not a short term fix - I'm still doing the exercises to keep my back in good shape. I strongly recommend them.
Friendly, efficient and they cure all my aches and pains.
Physio on the River have the best looking physios in London, which is very soothing and distracting whilst they're twisting your limbs into shapes they wouldn't normally assume.
Excellent service, very friendly.
Physio on the River has the best reputation in the area and is well recommended by local GP’s. It is also a gorgeous environment for the pilates and yoga classes.
I've been using this service for years, even before they moved into their astonishingly lovely new premises! I've had sterling support from them whenever I've visited and have never not been cured! Lovely friendly company, I would, and frequently do, thoroughly recommend them for the physiotherapy service. I havent tried the pilates yoga etc on offer so cant comment on that, but as a one-stop centre its is very innovative.
Exceptionally professional and welcoming physio. It has helped me greatly many times.
I have always found prompt, efficient, professional advice given by Diana. She is caring and supportive in her treatments.
Brilliant service, well organised. Physio on the River is well run with knowledgeable staff.
