I thought I should let you know that Park Hill is obviously a very special school for producing future head girls. Dorothy’s just been voted Head Girl of Notre Dame for next year!!! Two siblings have never been head girls before so obviously it must be something to do with their start in life!
I feel that all my grandchildren have had a lovely start to their school career at Park Hill.I'm convinced that small children should be in an environment, such as yours, which is a natural progression from home. I have written to Zac Goldsmith on this topic and regretted these juggernaut Primary Schools which are developing due to Kingston's poor planning. How can a child have any individuality in a year group of 120? How can they star in a play, as all yours do, and achieve the confidence which comes from having to perform in public? I wouldn't like to see any of my grandchildren in that situation.
Park Hill is a relaxed and happy school. Children's achievements academic or otherwise are frequently celebrated, making for well rounded and confident pupils.
We are delighted with the extraordinary care, attention to detail and level of service that Park Hill offer us and our 3 year old daughter. Being a working mother I am amazed at how accomodating, flexible and helpful all the staff are. The school has a warm and caring atmosphere and most importantly - our daughter is happy.
Both my girls now attend Park Hill and my husband and I have been very pleased with the school. There has not been one tear from my 2 year old (nearly 3 year old) when she started nursery this September. The welcome she got was fantastic. My 5 year old, now in year 1, enjoys school and is progressing very well.
Thank you so much for all that you have done to make Kyle and Kira’s experience at Park Hill such an enjoyable one. We will never forget Park Hill, or the lovely teachers, that help to make it such a wonderful school.
Despite having another two years left at Park Hill, we felt we should write to express our gratitude for the education that Freddie has gained from his four years at Park Hill. As we think of the tentative little boy who joined Nursery, I am amazed at the confident, articulate young man who leaves you, as he starts the next stage of his school life. Park Hill has instilled in Freddie all the facets that we considered important at this age; manners, courtesy and consideration towards others. On top of these life skills – which (hopefully!), he will carry with him forever, he has learnt to read fluently, developed pretty good handwriting, but most importantly the ability to think and learn for himself. He leaves Park Hill fully furnished to flourish at Shrewsbury House.
Thank you so much for all you and your staff have done for Isabel in her short time at Park Hill. Park Hill is such a lovely friendly school and the children are all so very happy. We will hold fond memories of Isabel’s time here. Isabel has really enjoyed being a part of Park Hill and has made a lot of new friends. Once again thank you.
The food is great and all the teachers are really nice, particularly Mrs.Christie, Mrs Leon, Mrs. Freeman, Mrs. Burn, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Smith, Miss Caroll, Miss Fynch and Mrs. Klahn. You can also do the walking bus which gives you a good chance to get fresh air in the morning and the children that walk with you are really nice. There is also a good variety of sports like tennis, cross country, football, netball, and huff and puff.
Park Hill really does have a warm, friendly and caring environment. The Head arranged for us to meet families and make new friends during the school holidays prior to joining the school. We believe this wonderful support enabled our daughter to very quickly settle into the school and immediately be able to focus on heracademic studies.
Since the first day that we visited Park Hill it has felt like the right place to send our two daugters, Lily and Eleanor. We love the warm, almost villagey feel that comes with a small school and since our eldest daughter started 18 months ago our instincts have been proved right.
Park Hill is a very special place. I watched my daughter grow in a short time from a shy and nervous newcomer to confident public speaker, academic high-flyer and most importantly, happy, chatty child in just a few terms - and I am in no doubt where the encouragement came from. As a university lecturer, I know the demands of teaching very well, and I watched as each of my daughters teachers brought out different strengths and challenged different weaknesses in her, and I will be forever grateful.
We sent our three daughters to Park Hill from Nursery through to Form 3. Park Hill gave the girls a first-rate education together with a thorough grounding in skills that would serve them for the rest of their lives. To say we were happy with Park Hill is an under-statement. On looking back we would not have changed any aspect of the girls' years at Park Hill. The girls all moved on to Kingston Grammar and then universities and have all done extremely well but they have NEVER forgotten where their start was and to this day still talk about their early teachers and experiences.
I have very fond memories of my time at Park Hill. The opportunities were second to none, not to mention all the outings which helped us to learn and to enjoy school. Park Hill also introduced athletics to me, something I still participate in today. I remember all the teachers very clearly and this can only be a tribute to the fantastic time we had there.
Park Hill was an excellent foundation for my school career. Small class sizes allowed a high degree of individual teaching and this meant that the teachers understanding of individual personalities was second to none, stretching us to achieve our very best, and instilling good habits of self-discipline, integrity, courtesy and honesty. Outings, clubs and extra curricular activities such as day trips to Windsor castle, classical concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, adventure weekends, ballet, tap, swimming all enhanced school days and provided a varied and stimulating curriculum. Park Hill has a unique atmosphere, combining the best of English tradition and the use of modern teaching techniques. The teachers are friendly and the staff are very kind and thoughtful, I do not know many schools that allow children to develop a love for history, music and the arts whilst at the same time excelling in mathematics. Thank you.
I absolutely loved Park Hill, it was like going to school in a very posh house, if only adult work life could be like that! The garden was absolutely beautiful and I made the two best friends a girl could have.
How can we thank you enough for all the happy years we have all enjoyed at Park Hill. The school is an incredibly happy place to be while still being a place of learning. The children have loved their time at Park Hill and are very sad to be leaving. I have so enjoyed being involved with the school and I have made some lifelong friends and so leaving will be particularly painful. I congratulate you on what you and your staff have created and achieved at Park Hill and I wish you every blessing, wisdom and guidance for the future of the school. With our sincere thanks and may God bless you.
Thank you so much for the care and attention you gave Adam during his time here.
Just a brief update to let you know news of 2 of your past pupils – Whilst they have been away from Park Hill for some years Steve and I both felt hey would never have achieved what they have without the grounding and the support they received from yourselves, so thank you.
Thanks a lot for your help and support during our Park Hill School’s years. We have very good memories with you and the staff.
I love Park Hill and I will miss all the teachers.
Thanks for all your wonderful work with both Nick and Ellie during their years at Park Hill. They have both got so much from their time at your wonderful school and I will never forget you.
I have enjoyed all my years at Park Hill School. I will miss all my friends and teachers.
Just a quick note to say thank you for everything over the last four years. Through the good times and bad you have always reminded us that we have two very different but fantastic children! We are constantly stunned by our children’s academic progress , but also feel very proud that they are a joy to be around. We feel that this is largely due to the strong moral and social principles that are such a large part of Park Hill and are very grateful for this start in their lives and school careers. We hope it is not goodbye but just farewell and plan to stay very much in touch. Many thanks once again for all your support.
Words simply cannot express or do justice to the enormous gratitude that we feel towards Park Hill School in all that has been done for Annabelle, Thomas and Louisa over the past seven years, and at such a crucial age. It has been an amazing educational experience for them and enhanced by many unique factors – the very personal touch, the kindness of all the staff which provides the very happy environment in which the skilful teaching provides an enriched education, the dedicated musicality which Annabelle, Thomas and Louisa have all loved, and the level of parental involvement on which I and my children have all thrived. We must also thank you personally for all your help, support and advise over the years and not least with regards to their next schools – a big step for which we feel they have been well prepared at Park Hill. We are all tremendously sad to be leaving the school, but we all have such fond and happy memories to treasure of the magical place that Park Hill is.
Thank you for a wonderfully happy year for both Freddie and Henry. Glenn and I continue to be impressed with the caring and nurturing atmosphere that you foster at Park Hill.
You are the best Principal. I like you a lot you are very nice to me and I always write lovely things about you and the school. I love this school I wish I could stay here forever!!!
Mrs Christie you are always friendly and nice to me. I very love Park Hill School.
We are so grateful for the warm and friendly re-introduction to the UK that you gave to Flossie and all the Tupper family. We will have very fond memories of her brief time at Park Hill. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking such good care of Sophie. I know it’s an exhausting trip. It was good to know she was in safe hands.
Thank you so much for yet another great year for Thomas and Louisa who have flourished. Thank you also for all your help and support throughout the year.
Ever since I started 7 years ago I have enjoyed every last drop of being here at Park Hill School. I will miss you but will visit from time to time. I have had the time of my life. Thank you so much!
Thanks for the love and care that Park Hill School have given to Alice and James.
I am really going to miss Park Hill and everyone there but hopefully I will be coming to the summer fete next year.
Happy childhood memories are extremely special and I treasure the fact that Ella will have Park Hill amongst hers. Thank you so much for all you have done.
Park Hill School gave me the perfect start to school life. Looking back over 20 years later, besides setting me up well academically, above all else the school taught me manners, courteousy and to be respectful of others from a very early age - all of which has carried through to adult life. Fondest memories of the school would be sport in nearby Richmond Park on sunny summer days and taking part in the excellent concerts.A perfect reflection of the school's close-knit atmosphere is that i'm still in touch with many of friends from those early days in nursery and have recently got engaged to a former classmate, who also happens to be the Principal's daughter! I look forward to the day our son starts at Park Hill, following in our footsteps.
