I've been going to Indalo for the last 6 years. Over the years I've had a couple of different hair stylists - all excellent and, for the last 2 I've been with Alison who is just what the doctor ordered! It's obvious she loves her work and everybody is special and unique in her eyes.

I don't know all stylists but here are my recommendations. For the best glamour blow-dry before going out, ask for Alison. Colour is done with flair by Karen and new recruit Sarah, who trained at Indalo, is pretty good too. Kim, the salon owner, keeps an eye on everything and makes sure the clients keep coming back. It's not pretentious. Only slight criticism is that head massages could be a tad longer.

The staff and service are exceptional - always friendly and put themselves out for their customers - would highly recommend!

After losing my hair following chemotherapy, my hair grew back coarse and frizzy (think poodle perm) and I could find nothing to calm it. I decided to go to Indalo and see if they could help me. Kim and Ali discussed my hair and asked how I preferred it and I said straight, so they recommended X-tenso, which I'd never heard of. Before applying the X-tenso, Ali straightened my hair and trimmed it and checked that was how I'd like my hair look. Ali then applied the X-tenso and the end result was amazing. My hair looked much longer, in great condition and after a year of wigs and hated frizzy regrowth, I finally had hair I liked again. I walked out of Indalo feeling fantastic. The X-tenso treatment will last for 20 washes and will gradually drop out. Thanks to Kim and Ali, I feel like a woman again.

I have just moved to Indalo and cannot recommend them highly enough. The salon is very friendly but also totally professional. After just two visits I feel that Julie really understands my fine hair. I have just had the colour done and took advice on what would suit best and it's perfect - and I have had so many compliments. What more can you ask for? - apart from a cup of tea and that's offered on arrival as well!

I moved to Richmond just about three years ago. Finding a good hairdresser was on top of my list of priorities. When I finally found Indalo it was an experience that was very different from any I'd had before. The one gesture that touched me particularly was a voucher that came on my birthday. That, and the way I feel when I look in the mirror after Ali finished performing her magic.
