Rhyl Football Club
Competing in the Welsh Premier Football League, Rhyl Football Club are proud of their history, stadium, achievements and supporters.
It all began in the 1870's, when the Rhyl Skull & Crossbones team were founded by a group of young men. During those early years the first floodlit match was played at the then Greenfield Ground, situated in the east of Rhyl and in 1900 the team moved to their present home at The Belle Vue Stadium.
During the 2003/2004 football season Rhyl FC won The Welsh Premier League, The Welsh Cup, The Welsh Premier League Cup and the NWCFA Challenge Cup.
Today sees the club headed by a board of directors and sponsored by many local businesses.
The club have, over the last few years, qualified for both the Champions League and UEFA Cup, playing in Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Finland. In 2005 they progressed to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup, eventually narrowly losing to FK Viking of Norway.
The Belle Vue Stadium, with a capacity for 3,800 (seating for 1,800) is easy to reach by car, train or on foot. Please follow the map link at the top of this page for more details of our location.

We have rented a meeting room at Rhyl Football Club for 2 years and have found it an excellent venue. The room is spacious and light with good toilet and washing up facilities. We have tea and coffee making facilities provided and the staff of the club are always happy to assist with any special arrangements we may require. The cost of hiring the room is very reasonable and the location of it is ideal for people arriving on public transport or by car. There is ample parking space. People attending our meetings have found the room a convenient, warm and comfortable space and we would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a room to hire in the Rhyl area.
