FSB - Federation of Small Businesses Testimonials

I joined the FSB in November 2010 ,having been attracted by the extensive range of legal and advisory services on offer to help bolster a small Company. These are tailored specifically to small Companies, rather than bodies like the IOD who are excellent, but in my experience more geared to the larger concern.

The advice lines have proved extremely useful for discussing legal and tax queries without incurring large professional fees. The additional benefits of free banking, preferential charges for credit card activity and reduced rate private health insurance were a welcome surprise.

The inclusive tax investigation cover also means that the company has been able to cancel our existing policy - effectively paying for the cost of membership!

Initial attendance at the local Branch group have also confirmed that this is clearly a body that means business and is interested in the views and input of its members.

I joined the FSB a couple of monthly ago because of the numerou benefits of being a member. As well as championing and lobbying for small businesses, they also provide a wide range of benefits including free legal, tax and employment advice and information, free legal protection insurance, free jury service cover, free business banking and much more. I haven't used any of the business services yet, but I have attended our local branch meeting and enjoyed a joint social event with the Sheffield Branch of the FSB. The local FSB branch contacts and members are friendly and its useful to meet with other members who are also small business owners.
