The Drawing Room Coffee/Tea Room & Restaurant in the Market Square, Retford (above Stanley Hunt Jewellers) is opening every Thursday and Friday evening during October, November and December, commencing next Thursday 15th & Friday 16th October.
At last, Retford will have a good English Restaurant in the town centre serving high quality food - and offering excellent value for money at just £20 per head for a superb 3 course meal, plus coffee and mints.
Owner and talented chef, Martin Abel, has years of experience cooking in top restaurants and now brings a new restaurant experience to us in Retford.

Tiger Prawns with Sweet Chilli Dressing
Pork & Chicken Liver Terrine with Cumberland Sauce.
MAINS
Breast of Duck on a Sweet Potato Mash with a Plum & Ginger Sauce
Braised Lamb Shank set on Bubble & Squeak with a Rosemary & Redcurrant Sauce
Fillet of Fresh Salmon on a Prawn Risotto with a Red Pepper Coulis.
DESSERTS
Rich Chocolate Torte

The dinner menu will change regularly. For those of us who enjoy a drink, The Drawing Room is fully licensed and offers a good selection of wines and spirits.
The restaurant opens at 6.30pm and last orders for food are 8.30pm.
