It’s nearly February – the month of love – and from the 1st until 14th, The Best of Retford is getting all gooey and romantic about our local independent businesses.

Whether your local electrician consistently goes above and beyond, or your hairdresser never fails to make you look and feel fantastic, we want to know all about the Retford businesses that get you hot under the collar – for all the right reasons!

It’s simple –we want you to spread the love about your favourite business and write a testimonial about their attributes (or if you have some extra time to spare, why not recommend more than one?) It will only take a couple of minutes but will make a huge difference to Retford independent traders as each testimonial written will help them rise up the Love-O-Meter.

Plus, the more recommendations you write, the better chance you have of winning a fantastic prize!

  • Cinema tickets for two every month for a year
  • A romantic dinner for two at a Michelin starred restaurant
  • A Ferrari driving experience at Silverstone
  • A family ticket to the Harry Potter Studio Tour
  • An unforgettable Orient Express Experience

Our most loved businesses receive loads of free coverage in local and national press, so if you are a business member with The Best of Retford, now is your chance to re-engage with your customers and increase exposure in the area. All you need to do is ask your regulars to visit The Best of Retford and share the love they have for your company by writing a testimonial.

Go on – kiss and tell! What are you waiting for?

I’m the owner of The Best of Retford and blog on anything I think is of interest to local people. I also feature Retford businesses that have been recommended to me – great local businesses deserve to be promoted & receive the support of local people.
