Last Thursday’s inaugural North Notts Business Awards was a fabulous event and congratulations must go to everyone involved - the winners, nominees, organisers, sponsors and the superb venue, Hodsock Priory.
The event was well supported - all tickets sold! – and a wide variety of local business people, Council representatives and local media attended.
Bassetlaw is already very business focused – there are many more new business startups in Bassetlaw than any other district of Nottinghamshire (with the exception of Nottingham City itself) – and the high standard of nominated businesses and ultimate winners of the North Notts Business Awards certainly reinforces this.
The Winners of the 8 Awards categories were:
Company of the Year (Sponsored by Bassetlaw District Council)
Carley Consult Ltd
Business Person of the Year
Claire Weingaertner - Focus Accounting
Successful New Business of the Year
Mel Downing – Dog Listener
