Having read two testimonials from people who visited the Black Horse in 2007, I am keen to provide an updated revue based on my visit in March 2009.

Not only was the food excellent with the Prawn Fritters and Rib Eye Steak being two highlights but the service was attentive and friendly without being overpowering. We were able to ring in advance and book a table, which was fortunate as the restaurant was full when we arrived.

Although we live in Leatherhead, I will be returning to the Black Horse to sample some of their other dishes very soon!

I eat here regularly and always get great food. The atmosphere is great, especially in winter with the big fireplace and the staff always friendly. Well worth a visit if youʼve not tried it before...
