STONEMAN FUNERAL SERVICE is an independent family-owned business that has been established in Redhill for over a century, where we have earned a reputation for an efficient, personal yet sympathetic service.
Stoneman Funeral Service was born in 1865 when John Stoneman moved from south Devon to Redhill with his family to start a firm of funeral furnishers, cabinet makers, upholsterers and builders.
In 1932 the office in Reigate was opened, which is still in use today, and houses the memorials showroom. Families can also make funeral arrangements in private at this office.
In 1952, Doran Court in Redhill was converted into a funeral home, providing extensive facilities to assist in providing a first class comprehensive service.
Our Funeral Home in Redhill is available to you 365 days of the year, with a 24 hour emergency service in operation. In time of need we are here to help and serve you.
For advice or practical assistance a telephone call or a visit to our Funeral Home will receive immediate attention. We will also be pleased to visit you in your home to help with the funeral arrangements.
Doran Court, our head office, is situated on the A25 midway between Reigate and Redhill, where off road parking is available. It is here that we have our reception rooms, coffin and casket showroom, service Chapel, Chapels of rest, garaging for our fleet of Daimler Hearses and limousines and ancillary areas housing workshops and other departments essential to our profession.
Our Reigate office is situated in Bell Street, opposite the Priory car park where our memorial showroom is incorporated.
