Cooking lessons for kids
We're all about getting kids excited about eating fresh, healthy food and learning to cook ' real ' food using simple recipes and great ingredients.
Cooking involves:
* Using your senses: taste, smell, texture and visible pleasure (or not as the case may be!) of your creations. Discernment of taste is something that you just can't get from eating most of the convenience foods that are on the market today.
* Mathematics: - weighing, measuring, sequence (of recipe procedure)
* Reading: - following simple recipe directions
* Social interaction: - children learn how to work with others and be team members within the family
* Science: - simple chemical reactions e.g. Oil doesn't mix with water
* Innovation and Creativity: - with confidence older children can learn to experiment by the substitution or addition (more maths) of ingredients.

Learn a new cooking skill, brush up on your cooking techniques, or start at the very beginning in the kitchen with this series of cooking lessons at Je Cook.
A spoonful of French
Je Cook cooking lessons makes learning French a fun adventure. Hosted by a native French speaker we teach basic conversational French within the context of cooking lessons, including teach useful phrases for meeting and greeting, counting, eating, playing, and much more.

Ingredients: Take some very special friends, add a cup of laughter, a large bag of fun, a pinch of imagination.Mix all together and bring it to your child's café for self raising kids cooking party! And for you … No more worries about invitations, party food, party bags and tidying up after !!
