As more heavy snow is forecast for tonight, are we ready?
I've just looked at the BBC weather forecast for this area - my its going to be cold around here!
And judging by local news reports, the roads are treacherous out there. I think we're all hoping the local authorities across the country are better prepared than they seemed to be with the snowfall of a couple of weeks ago.
I haven't been out and about much today, but I've heard mixed reports of roads being better gritted this time, but also that there are hazardous conditions on many of the roads.
Gatwick Airport was closed last night due to snow on the runway, and many of the smaller roads were impassable today.
How has the beginning of our second Big Freeze been for you?
Delighted to be off school?
Frustrated at not being able to work? (many people don't get paid/earn if they can't work don't forget)
Dreading being snowed in again?
Or is it business as usual for you? (with the odd snowman along for company)
Have the gritters or ploughs been out in your area?
Have you been able to get out yourself?
Have you (as my mum asks every time it snows) got enough bread and milk in the freezer?!
Are you on your own and need a bit of help or reassurance?
