IDC - Inkberrow Design Centre, Redditch, Worcestershire is located in Britten Street, Redditch. The organisation was set up in 1992 by Brenda Killigrew. IDC - Inkberrow Design Centre, Redditch, Worcestershire is privately owned and ran by Brenda, offering a variety of courses in fashion and textiles. Courses on offer are both Recreational and City & Guilds. IDC, Redditch offer a programme of one, two and four day workshops in a variety of subjects relating to textiles. Many subjects on offer including: Millinery, Fashion, Fashion illustration, Tailoring, Pattern cutting, Corsetry & Lingerie, Dress Making, Theatre Costume, Machine Embroidery, Soft furnishing and interiors.

Tailoring each course to meet the individual learner, IDC-Inkberrow Design Centre, Redditch fully understand that peoples' needs and specific requirements differ. A flexible programme is available should it be required for studying, whether that is with attendance or by distance learning.

If it isn't a City and Guilds qualification you would like, then IDC - Inkberrow Design Centre offer recreational courses for levels and abilities. Workshops at IDC - Inkberrow Design Centre, Redditch, Worcestershire are held 10.00am - 4:00pm. Recreational classes are available in all subjects. City & Guilds courses vary in length, short courses are 30 hours, part time are 120 hours and full time start at 240 hours, this one day per week over 35 weeks. Full Millinery online learning is available via www. Inkberrowdesigncentre.co.uk. Enrolment - any time of the year. All courses require a basic sewing kit: comprising: Scissors, one for paper one for fabric, a selection of pins and needles, measuring tape, chalks etc, each individual tutor will advise on anything further required for the course. IDC - Inkberrow Design Centre, Redditch offers the luxurious facility of having sewing machines on site for your use.
New to Redditch! IDC are launching a sewing café in the heart of the town. The sewing café will be launching on 18th October 2011 and will run every Tuesday 10am till 3pm. Drop in for an hour or two. There will be tea and cake available. £5 an hour or £9 for two hours (other prices are available if you want to stay longer). Expert help is on hand all day so bring along a project, be it new or alterations
to your favourite top! All ages and abilities welcome (although children have to be accompanied). There are plenty of sewing machines for
you to work on and provide a basic sewing kit for you to borrow during the day. Come along and take the fear out of Sewing!
In addition also present at IDC are a selection of Crafts, China and Glassware, Period/Antique Furniture and Vintage Clothing all on sale in this fabulous Aladdins cave! So come and make a worth while visit! Please note that IDC are located in a one way street and so, if driving, you will need to turn down Edward Street and then make two lefts to arrive on Britten Street. There is plenty of onsite parking.
