Woodford Golf Club, Woodford Green, Redbridge - A real test of golf!
Situated in Woodford Green, Redbridge, Woodford Golf Club is a challenging 5,852-yard nine-hole golf course. In the midst of Epping Forest and just a mile and a quarter from the North Circular Road, The AA 2006 golf course guide describes it thus: "The tree-lined fairways and subtle undulations provide an excellent test of golfing skill".

Visitors to Woodford Golf Course are welcome to play 9 or 18 holes on one of the oldest courses in north-east London. It is especially good for those long summer evenings when it is possible to play 9 holes (or more) if teeing of after 6pm. The green fee charge is £18 for 18 holes midweek and £20 at weekends. There is a 9-hole green fee of £12 Monday to Friday, and £14 Saturday after 12.30pm, and Sunday after 11am (all times subject to course availability). Special rates also apply for junior golfers
Woodford Golf Course of Woodford Green, Redbridge has some restrictions, mainly on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, on public play to accommodate members' competitions. Please note that all golfers at Woodford golf course must wear a major item of bright red (scarlet) clothing.
Golfers who pay a green fee have the courtesy of the club for that day including use of the changing rooms, showers and our pleasant bar.
Our restaurant facilities, run by Jill Templeman, are open from 11am to 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday inclusive. A wide variety of hot meals as well as hot snacks and sandwiches are available at reasonable prices. They also provide catering for club functions and for private hire of the clubhouse as well as outside functions.

Fantastic Associate Membership Special Offer
A major initiative by this go-ahead club is an "associate membership" arrangement which should appeal to golfers who pay green fees to play regularly.
Under this scheme, green fee payers get discounted golf if they pay £200 upfront. For a year they will be able to play 18 holes for £13 or nine holes for £10 with the fees being deducted each time from the initial £200 payment - a substantial saving on green fee rates.
