My 6 year old daughter loves her Chantraine lessons and part of the reason is that it is a very natural way to learn dance and movement and there is no pressure. The other main reason is that unlike every other class she's been to and got fed up with they don't change the teacher all the time. Her teacher who she loves has been doing it for years and hopefully years to come. She really likes children and they really like her. The yearly concerts are also fun and there is no pressure for the kids to do them, though my daughter always wants to. Highly recommended!

My daughter has attended Chantraine since she was 4 years old - she is now 17. She has always loved the classes and has gained so much by dancing with the other students. The teaching is wonderful and she always comes out of class refreshed and happy! Over the years I have attended festivals and shows and have always been struck with what the children and students get from dancing in this way. Its much more than a dance class and I would recommend it to anyone - have a try - it really is for everyone.

Chantraine Dance is what keeps me sane! The classes always leave me feeling reinvigourated and ready for anything. Through it I have learned to recongnise and use my energy states in all the different parts of my life - to allow myself to drop into a neutral briefly when life gets on top of me, to take time to rise up into an active before a difficult meeting.

CHANTRAINE IS JUST UNIQUE IN BOTH ITS CONTENT AND DELIVERY. It is suitable for everyone, and does not require a previous knowledge of dance. My three children (now aged 21, 16 and 9) think it is the most beneficial form of dancing they do. I cannot recommend it highly enough to any adult wanting a class that combines a lovely physical work-out with mental activity.
