I was really surprised by how many different dresses Vivienne had available, there was definitely something to suit every taste and budget. Vivienne also offered honest and down to earth advice and challenged the type of dress I thought I wanted. After patiently letting me pick out and try on many dresses that I thought I liked, she handed me a dress that, going by what it looked like on the hanger, I probably wouldn’t have picked myself…so imagine my surprise when it turned out to be The One! I have to say that the collection here is fabulous. Presentation of the dresses is immaculate. Designer dresses at a fraction of the price you would pay in the actual designer shops in London. I first had the pleasure of meeting with you in 2010 when I visited Berkshire Brides with my Sister Katie as you kindly assisted her in her wedding dress search. Since getting engaged, only 2-months ago! I wanted to ensure that my dress was one of the first things I would organise / choose! May I say how welcome you made me and my Mum feel as soon as we stepped through the door, it was like visiting family, so pleased to see us and so friendly.
The showroom is fabulous and has an intimate feel to it. It was not like all these homogenized bridal lounges! You were pleasant understanding, and more importantly listened to what I had in mind and took to the time to understand what I did not like, so as not to waste time showcasing dresses that would not be suitable from the outset! The experience was a pleasure and so simple! The range of dresses on offer is fabulous, and not to mention displayed gorgeously! I decided upon an Ian Stuart design which I am in love with! I loved my designer Jesus Piero wedding dress and yet after our wedding I didn't want it to spend the rest of its life in a box in my wardrobe, instead I desired for it be part of another bride’s joyous day. Vivienne was so helpful and professional in helping me sell my dress, I have already recommended Berkshire Brides to many of my friends. My husband and I used this unlocked capital from the sale of my wedding dress to treat ourselves to a snow sports holiday in celebration of our one year anniversary. Vivienne instantaneously summed me up by assessing me when I walked in. She somehow knew exactly the style of dress that would suit me, without me saying anything!! Unbelievably, the first dress Vivienne picked out happened to be a Suzanne Neville dress which I had previously seen on the Suzanne Neville website (but which I had dismissed due to the price) but it was the dress I ended up with… Vivienne insisted on me trying on numerous other dresses, however, I kept comparing all to the first dress I tried on!!!! My dress choosing experience was wonderfully pain free, I visited one showroom (Berkshire Brides)who had a large selection of dresses in a wide variety of styles to choose from and went home having picked my dress the same day! Thank you Vivienne for all of your guidance and suggestions, you knew exactly which dress would suit me best and were very patient whilst I spent half an hour in the one I ended up buying staring at it from every possible angle. I didn’t expect to afford any exciting Designer dresses with my budget but in the end that’s exactly what I’ve gone home with!

I had two weeks to go before my wedding date, had bought a £3,500 Jenny Packham dress directly from the designer and decided at the last minute that it was not right. In a panic looking on the internet at 3am I found Vivienne's website and she called me back the very next day. I tried on ten dresses and loved five of them - I simply could not believe the range and condition of the stock, and what’s more, I found my dream dress and loved it even more than the original dress I paid all that money for. Vivienne arranged for the dress to be cleaned and fitted immediately, and I felt like an absolute princess on the day and received amazing comments.

I'd been looking for a wedding dress for some time, and I had no idea as to what I wanted or what would suit me but I knew exactly what I didn't want! After drudging around several shops and being pounced on as soon as I walked through the door I thought I'd look on the net and found Berkshire Brides. To be completely honest I wasn't sure what to expect and after contacting Vivienne and arranging a convenient time to fit in with my family life, I took my mother in law to be and off we went. Well where do I start..... on arrival there was a bride to be collecting her dress and I've never seen someone beaming so much, then it was my turn. Vivienne introduced herself then stood back and looked at me and said "so are you a 10-12 bottom and a 12-14 top?", to which she was spot on she then asked me for the pictures of dresses I thought I might like, which I did but I hadn't seen anything that really caught my eye. We went upstairs to find 3 rooms bulging full of beautiful dresses and she said that the style of dresses I'd got pictures of probably wouldn't suit but that she'd find some similar for me to look at and some that she thought would suit my height, figure etc. All I can say is wow, what she brought out were amazing, they were beautifully made and gorgeous. I started trying them on, 6 in all and with each one Vivienne gave an honest opinion and as she said, the style I thought would suit didn't! Now I never thought in a million years I would find THE DRESS, the one you just have to have but with Vivienne's expert help I did and I must say I've never felt so special and beautiful as I did in the dress I brought from her. All I can say is a massive “thank you” for everything from helping find the perfect dress, making me feel like I was the only bride in the world and for making me feel so at ease the whole way through. I have recommended you to my best friend who is getting married either next year or the one after and everyone I know.

I had visited a couple of bridal shops but hadn't been overwhelmed with the choice or service so I gave Vivienne a call just on the off chance. I was expecting to see pretty much what I had already seen in other places but was very pleasantly surprised with a very wide range of styles. Vivienne knew just by looking at me what style of dress would suit me and picked a few out for me to try, i also picked out a few and found that they didn't look anywhere near as nice as the ones she had picked. Once we had set the date four our wedding ,as most brides do, I started to scour the pages of many a bridal magazine to try and find 'the dress'. I'd booked a few appointments in London Bridal boutiques and was no further to finding anything close to what I really wanted. It was my father who had spotted Berkshire Brides on the web and suggested that it might be something that I would be interested in. I must confess, at first, I was not at all sure about the idea of having a wedding dress that had been either a showroom sample or previously owned, however, I agreed to go and meet Vivienne, and see the dresses that she had.

I tried on about 3 different dresses, but it was the last dress that I tried on which was the most stunning and had to be 'the one'. I recently bought my dress from Berkshire Brides. It was the frist one I tried on but not the original one I had come to see called Rio. Vivienne took one look at me and said the Rio dress wasn't for me but to try it on anyway... this can seem a little harsh but I was grateful for the honest advice as who wants to look like a lemon on their wedding day. I found Vivienne very straight talking but also helpful. Her gowns are beautiful and fairly priced. The atmosphere for me was good too as you felt very special rather than one Bride on a conveyor belt of Brides waiting to try on dresses.
