APS relates to the treatment of pain, the mobilisation of stiff joints and the reduction of swelling without medication. Our bodies have a natural action potential that tries to heal us when our bodies don't seem to be functioning correctly, such as at times of illness or injury.
But our body's action potential diminishes during our lifetime. APS technology can simulate your body’s action potential above and beyond its normal levels of healing no matter how old you are. Treatment can be performed while you are fully clothed using a simple APS medi-consol that sits on your lap - it is that simple!

What exactly is APS?

APS Therapy is a micro electrical therapy (MET) which simulates the natural nerve impulses (the action potential). The action potential is an important signal because many body processes depend on this signal. Stimulating the tissue with the APS signal improves the blood circulation.

Consequently, a high concentration of ATP (Adenosinetriphosfate) is generated. ATP is a molecule that takes care of the transport of energy in the human body and is crucial in the treatment of pain. The increase of ATP in the body after APS treatment is about 5 to 8 times more than usual.

Exactly how does it work?

APS (Action Potential Simulation) is so called because the applied electrical current has a positive amplitude that the natural action potential of the cell wall simulates. The applied current is a direct current of low intensity, expressed in microamperes. This is why APS is regarded as a Micro-current Electrical Therapy (MET). The APS machine makes it possible to apply this specific micro-current in an easy and safe way to the human body.

APS Therapy uses pain-free adhesive electrodes to transfer the signal to the body.

The electrodes are applied to the body in such a way that the affected area is captured between the black and the red electrodes. A micro-current signal similar to the action potential goes from one pair of electrodes to the other. This current goes through the body.
