Southsea Greenhouse Newsflash

Well, it’s funny how things turn out.
The last few weeks have been all about gates.
Pestering the City Council to approve our new gate, crafted by
Peter Clutterbuck and ready to make a secret gateway in the hedge
between the community garden and the new tennis courts. PCC also
promised to fix the back gates through which the hooligans
were sneaking in last summer.
Then this weekend our amazing gate toppers arrived,
made by sculptor Tina Monkey Sanchez and her metal collective,
from old garden tools, pots and cutlery which were donated by
local people. Recycled metal fashioned into flowers,
magnificently, they sit on our front gates, recently repainted by
graffiti artists Lilou and Fark from ‘Like a Tea Tray in the Sky’.
Big thanks to everyone who helped bring metal, build, garden
or make the tea – we love all of you!

Dont miss our garden party on April 12th 11am-3pm
