Weekend breakfasts are Jacks are now on the top of my "to do" list. A really enjoyable, delcious meal in a lovely setting and probably one of the best breakfasts I have had in recent times. Make a detour to Jacks before you start your weekend. You won't regret it !

I have been very impressed lately in the breadth of their offering from very keenly priced lunchtime specials to promotional offers in the evenings.These, combined with excellent quality food finally gives Portishead a restaurant to be proud of.

I met up with a colleague on Saturday morning for a breakfast meeting - something we are very familiar with as we are both serial networking breakfast addicts. I've averaged 3 breakfasts a week for the last year and by far and away this was the most flavoursome, well presented and all round excellent cooked breakfast I've had this year. The staff were friendly & attentive, the coffee just right, but oh, those sausages, the chef who selected them should be given an award.

Took my wife to Jacks at the weekend and was blown away by the quality of food and service - This is exactly what Portishead needs

I believe there is a new Head Chef, called Chris and his wife is joining him in the next week to run the service side of things - So I will certainly be back
