I have a confession to make...... I like - no - I love American Breakfasts.... mmmm crispy bacon and pancakes.... yes I know I should like the full English but hey, I am a compulsive breakfast networking girl, sooner or later you reach your limit. Now I do know of a certain 4Networking Guru who thrives on them... I think the caffeine and bacon fat feed his brain.
My idea of breakfast heaven however is Pancakes and strong fresh coffee. Now on those pancakes I love crispy bacon, maple syrup and blueberries, maybe a little whipped butter..... mmmmm ..... delicious!
Yes you may think it is a little over the top, all of it mixed in, but honestly it tastes sublime.
Sooooooo my big news is that a little bird told me that the aforementioned pancakes will be making their debut on the Breakfast menu at the LOCKHOUSE Lounge at Portishead from this weekend (that’s the 16th January !). For those of you who have not tried it yet, breakfast is from 10am to 12 noon every day
So to wet your appetite, here are some of the other delights of the Lounge Breakfast. The Best of Portishead herself will be making an appearance on Sunday Morning to indulge in her pancakes (after 2 weeks of a very strict exercise and food programme but hey ho!).
