The ‘bestofpoole’ engaged in one of their Buy Local High Street Campaigns on Tuesday.
“The aim of the day was to raise a public profile for shops in Wimborne. This campaign included the town’s local produce, gift shop, traditional sweet shop, popular bookshop, furniture store and kitchen store. All of which are highly appreciated by the locals.
It is particularly important that we buy locally as we need to provide our towns with the boost they deserve. There is nothing else that compares to the ‘feel good’ factor when buying local products. It is important for both communities and local businesses that we buy from our high street shops to provide them with the support to secure the towns prosperity. You will find that the local producer generally adds more creativity and elements to make their products the finest quality.
