In the season 2008/09 Poole Town FC were the DOUBLE winners, winning the Wessex Premier League by a considerable margin and the Dorset Senior Cup, beating Dorchester in the final. In fact they went the first 40 league games with 38 wins, 2 draws and no defeats.
