This year marks the 56th anniversary of the New Year’s Eve event - and exactly 30 years since the re-birth of the Nos Galan Road Races in 1984 - and entering has never been easier. In fact, you can do so with the click of a button.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council opened online registrationfor the 2014 Nos Galan Road Races at 11am on Monday, September 8. People are urged to get involved and are also invited to use their local leisure centre to train for the event.
The Nos Galan Road Races are held each year in memory of legendary Welsh runner Guto Nyth Bran. It attracts thousands of athletes of all ages and abilities from around the globe.
Previously there has been such overwhelming demand that some runners who tried to register were unable to do so as the race categories had reached their full capacity. So the advice is enter online as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!
