At the heart of our community is Pontypridd YMCA. Celebrating a 100 years as a local charity, many local inhabitants meet here on a regular basis for a variety of activities and classes.

First opened in 1910, Pontypridd YMCA is currently celebrating its 100th year at their current location as a charity working within and for the Pontypridd community. With their main aims being to work in partnership to provide a supportive, welcoming atmosphere for fun, learning and wellbeing. The YMCA has strong heritage and archives illustrating their interesting and important history as a key player within the local community.
Pontypridd YMCA's growth relies on it's contributions from local people and businesses and are registered with 'Just Giving' if you would like to make online donations that go directly to the charity.

Room Hire
The YMCA can boast four rooms for hire and are able to accommodate small groups in the training rooms to hiring the 'Shelley Hall' or 'Youth Club' room for larger events and meetings. Rooms are available from only £12.50 per hour and are very popular for tuition, conferences and training. 'Visit Website' for further information on pricing and booking.
Tones Fitness Suite
New for 2010 is the Pontypridd YMCA Tones Fitness Suite. A modern well designed fitness suite to accommodate your every fitness need combining both cardiovascular and resistance. The fitness suite is open from 7:30am weekdays and 9am on Saturday.

Classes and Associations
