An annual summer party is the norm for this popular restaurant, as regular customers know, but this year is even more special – it’s the 23rd year that Madhuban has been trading locally.
Originally founded in Haslemere, the Madhuban restaurant moved to Liss in 1987, taking over the former “Papillon” site on Station Road. In 2008, the restaurant enjoyed a beautiful and extensive London-style refit, extending to 130 covers, introducing original Indian carvings, new water features and an Italian-designed bar area.
To add to the many awards that the restaurant has won over the years, Madhuban was presented with “South East Caterer of the Year 2009” by the Bangladeshi Caterer Association.
