TO INVEST OR NOT TO INVEST – THAT IS THE QUESTION

Low interest rates and until very recently an equity market showing only stuttering signs of recovery? Pension funds suffering from significant drops in value but people living longer placing an even greater demand on funding for retirement? How do you square the circle and steer a path through the investment jungle?

Fortunately there is a solution for people in Petersfield as top local firm Cox Manning of Dragon Street has pulled together some of the finest investment brains in the local area for a unique event in the hall of the United Reformed Church in College Street on 10 September at 5.30pm. Investment Question Time will be chaired by David (Dimbleby) Tipple who recently gave a talk to a full house in Petersfield on the subject of the 2009 Budget to an invited audience on behalf of Cox Manning. Joining David to answer the questions will be Philip Carpenter of Redmayne Bentley, Graeme Trinder of Robison & Co, Philip Bailey of WKH Financial Services and Ian Chambers of Fairway Financial Management Ltd. Tipple said “never before has Petersfield had the benefit of so many investment brains in one room at the same time and between us we will be able to answer any questions from our invited audience ranging from the equity markets through to movements in interest rates and on to some of the more unusual types of investments such as stamps and fine wines.”

Principal of Cox Manning, Louise Manning added “in the recent past we have had to respond to far more questions about savings and investments from our clients than ever before and Investment Question Time is an opportunity for them to receive the benefit of some of the best placed people to advise locally - I have no doubt it will be a packed house”

Attendance at Investment Question Time is by invitation only. Anyone wishing to attend should contact Cox Manning on 01730 266816 or by email to seminars@coxmanning.com
