The Blue Bell Pub in Glinton Peterborough Testimonials

My husband I and stopped here for Sunday lunch. It was 2.30pm when we arrived and chose the pate to start followed by one roast beef and one steak pie. Although the main sunday rush was over we waited 1/2 hour for our starter only to find it was processed pate. When the roast arrived we found the potatoes must have been deep fat fried with the chips. The meat in the pie was simply the roast beef cut up with a puff pastry top. When we asked for the window to be closed the member of staff stood on my chair with her boots on and then expected me to sit back on the chair without it being cleaned. The staff were friendly enough but the food was very disappointing.

Had lunch with my sister. Food was lovely and cooked beautifully. Friendly and welcoming staff. Will definitely return.

The standard of food is always excellent and the staff as friendly as they can be. Living at least ten miles away its worth the journey to get some really great food. The landlord Richard, and landlady Cheryl are a treasure. Try Richards chicken in wild mushroom sauce, wow!
