What a great piece of news to end the week on: I have just had Steve from 3C Car Valeting come into the office here at The Best Of Perth & Kinross to tell me how the power of recommendation is working for him and ensuring his Car Valeting business is reaching a global market. Yes you read it right a Perthshire Car Valeting business has clocked it's first international customer.
But I am jumping the gun, as Steve initially told me he was really pleased as he had recently had a customer travel from Peebles to Perth to use his service. When asked how the customer had heard about him, she replied 'I have been told how good your service is and your prices are very competitive. I was able to come and visit a friend and actually save myself money.' She has also promised to return and use his services again and again. That is certainly one satisified customer for Steve and shows the power of recommendation in helping your business to grow.
Now to the international part of Steve's business, he told me how a lady from Australia had emailed him to ask if she could buy a voucher for her sister's birthday who lives here in Perth, Scotland. Delivering good customer service and proving why his business carries The Best Of Perth & Kinross stamp of approval, Steve didn't hesitate to send the voucher off to her sister. In return he received a thank you card, with cheque, for his speedy turn around, from the land of Oz.
Steve is not sure how his international customer became aware of him, but all I can say is TBOPerthKinross (our twitter account) has many Australian followers. Steve has promised to let us know when he finds out how she became aware of 3C Car Valeting.
