Queen's Jubillee Event

An event has been organised on Saturday 2nd June( the Queens diamond jubilee weekend) along the Montgomery Canal.

The Montgomery Canal Triathlon Endurance Challenge will be on the theme of Bikes, Boats and Boots and will use the 35 miles of towpath in one day.

Cycling from Newtown to Welshpool- 13 miles. then canoeing the 11 miles from Welshpool to Llanymynech( 8 locks and 3 road crossings), then walking from Llanymynech to Frankton- 11miles.
Complete one section or attempt all three!. Lots of fun.
