A little bit of Art and Soul - Four Galleries

Before the Christmas buying season gets underway, why not take time this week to take a deep breath, find yourself a warming latte or soothing pot of tea and plan a relaxing weekend.

There are some interesting exhibitions on in and around town. At the Chicken Gallery, local artists, including Jas Davidson Judith Harrison, Annie Tullo and Maggie Furmanek have a collection of their recent work. A lovely clean space with a thoughtfully curated exhibition.

Meanwhile the Qube have their Christmas Craft and Art Festival with a scrumptious selection of work that would make someone happy this Christmas.

The beautiful Oswestry Visitor & Exhibition Centre on Church Street has an exhibition by artists Juliette Booth, Jonathan Brier and Jake Stephen.

The Willow Gallery, has a rather fascinating exhibition from Jani Janush, a Bulgarian artist, with a fine selection of water colours and charcoal drawings.

Art captures the eye, engages the senses and satiates the soul. Treat yourself, while you can.
