New local Charity, Music MOB has been grateful to receive its first donation of musical instruments.
Oswestry charity, Qube and Oswestry Town Council have reported a successful morning at the annual Oswestry Charity Market, despite the terrible weather.
Oswestry-based charity, Qube are inviting local shoppers to come along to the summer Charity Market on Friday, 7th June at the Bailey Head in Oswestry.
Oswestry Golf Club are delighted to welcome the world renowned Fron Male Voice Choir, supported by the ladies of ‘Lleisiau'r Afon’ (the Dyfrdwyettes) for a VERY special St.David’s Day Performance.
Do you have a family member from WW2 listed on the Oswestry Memorial Gates? Local charity, Qube, is seeking the help of local families to help carry out research into the lives of the town’s WW2 heroes. Last month Qube launched ‘Men on the Gates’, a website to commemorate those who lost their lives during the First World War.
Come along and support Oswestry’s Charity Market where you can find out what activities there are running in Oswestry. The Market will take place on the Bailey Head on Friday 8th June. This popular event supports local charities and community groups in helping them promote their services and recruit new volunteers so they can continue the important work that they do.
‘On the High Street’ is a project that aims to bring vitality and interest to a key shopping area of Oswestry and has just been awarded funds through the Big Lottery Fund- Awards For All.
Lanyon Bowdler LLP have, once again, been appointed as solicitors to Severn Hospice, a Shropshire Charity which provides care to those with incurable illness, and support to their families when and where needed.
