Welcome to The Oswestry Festival of the Word aka OsLitFest

A festival to celebrate the word: written, spoken and sung! This annual festival showcases the best of talent - writers, poets, songwriters, singers, dramatists and actors - from Oswestry and the Welsh Marches. When? 10-20 March 2012

THE 3rd OSWESTRY FESTIVAL OF THE WORD - MARCH 10-20 2012

Oswestry and the Welsh Marches has a rich and varied heritage of writing, speaking and singing talent. The Oswestry Festival of the Word (Or OsLitFest to it's friends) aims to celebrate this over the course of 10 days in March 2012.

What better time than Spring to hold a festival around the creativity and expression? The festival week surrounds the birthday of Wilfred Owen (18th March) born in 1893 in Oswestry.

2012 sees the Oswestry Lit Fest take a big step forward with a stunning array of the talent coming to Oswestry.
