BRIGHT (or RE-RACKED) BEER
Stonehouse Brewery beer normally contains yeast and needs to stand in a cool place for 24-48 hours prior to serving and should not be moved thereafter.
For private events/parties, they offer the beer in "bright" condition which means that they re-rack the beer into a fresh container leaving the sediment in the original cask.
Stonehouse Brewery can offer this service for their casks and also their 20 litre (36 pint) polypins.
Bright beer can then be placed in the serving location and served immediately and it also has the added advantage of not going cloudy if it is nudged or knocked.
