Oswestry Community Action
The Qube in Oswestry is the location of Oswestry Community Action which is an organisation which aims to improve quality of life and empower those members of the community marginalised through age, ill health, disability or rural isolation, to fully participate in society.
The Qube serves :-

Qube Shop mobility
Qube shop mobility provides manual and powered wheelchairs, scooters and mobility equipment for people with permanent of temporary mobility difficulties,and is open Monday to Friday 10.00am- 3 00pm,
To use shop mobility you first need to register as a member and take a short assessment to use a scooter, full training will be provided.
Call into the showroom on Oswald road, Oswestry, or visit shop mobility stand at Powys market hall every Wednesday.

Qube Transport
You can use Qube transport for all of your trips and outings for:-

Ambulance Service - Ambulance Car Scheme
If you have to attend hospital as an In-patient or out-patient, transport may be arranged for you free of charge. To use this service, patients usually require a referral from their doctor or hospital.
Qube transport vehicles are also available for group bookings

Shropshire Community cars
Qube transport is the co-ordinator for Shropshire community cars for journets out of the area, all voulunteers are fully assesed and checked.
Communiry cars provides lifts with volunteers using their own cars and Rural Rider and Village Link buses, servicing the more rural parts of the county.The aim of these schemes is to provide accessible but affordable transport to dentists, opticians, chiropodists, hospital visititing, collecting pensions etc,
